Star is (Someone They’ll Always Remember) see what I just did right there? Ha, he is the example of what it looks like when you take control of you own life. Your endeavors, your dreams and goals. An aggressive, yet very compassionate person who wants what he deserves.

What void does your business fill in your current industry?

I feel like I fill the void of the multi-faceted person. You see a lot of people in the music business who outsource work. Who try to delegate their duties, with a low quality return of work/promises. With me, I’m simply the example of good business and keeping all duties in-house. Maximizing my potential, if you will. The music speaks for itself because I speak on real issues in my life, and how others can better their own situations. Taking the music further motivates the people to want more in their respective lanes. 

Tell us three lessons you’ve learned while operating your business.

Nothing is promised, there is no real way. It’s all trial and error, AND, you have to work insanely consistent just to be recognized, even then it may never be enough. 

Mentorships are vital, if you could be mentored by anyone in the world who would it be and why?

It would be 50 Cent. He’s tough on everyone. He pushes them to their max. I’ve never seen someone so in control of their own career and everything attached to them. I aspire to take his path and create one similar. Fitting for me of course. 

Tell us one thing majority of people don’t know about you.

Most people don’t know that I’m a very simple guy. I require a lot in terms of my career, but I don’t need much to be happy. I don’t need expensive clothes, or the “look” of someone successful. When I speak, people know I’m serious. Most of the time I’m wearing a hoodie, basketball shorts, and slides Haha. 

Why do you feel that you should win a COSIGN Award?

Who’s supported more??? If you look back to 2013, no other artist has been as closely aligned with the COSIGN brand as myself. I believe that I embody everything the award stands for. Which is really making people believers in your brand. I’m one of the few artists with no investor, record label, no management, and no one speaking for me. Yet I’m on the same playing field as the ones that do. I’ve done shows and toured with over 30 major artists. They gave me their stamp of approval. Sold hundreds of items of my own merch, also while running a team. I work really hard just to be noticed, and to be the best I knew I had to absolutely kill my competition. So far I’ve done that. 

Who do you #COSIGN and why?

I #COSIGN Shawn Cotton. I’ve never been more impressed by someone who has literally come up from nothing. More than my good friend, he’s a damn good person. The Say Cheese brand is one of the biggest in its industry. Millions of viewers a month. He’s a very down to earth person who doesn’t get caught up in the things people say, he goes at his own pace. Which clearly is ahead of others.
