DREAM CONFERENCE LAUNCHES IN DALLAS SEPT 26TH-29TH, BRINGING TOGETHER SOME OF THE BIGGEST NAMES IN URBAN ENTREPRENEURSHIP
The new conference makes its debut with four days of events featuring 30+ speakers, panels, workshops, networking mixers and a gala/fashion show all in one weekend!
(DALLAS, TX – AUGUST; source: Creative Currency) – D.R.E.A.M Conference, an acronym for Dallas Recognition of Entrepreneurs and Artists Magnified, brings in its inaugural year this September 26th-29th with four days filled with activations ranging from panels, workshops, keynotes, networking mixers and a gala/fashion show. Brought to you by the Artis Agency, DreamCon is set to be a lifestyle conference where entrepreneurs and career professionals can collaborate, be mentored and celebrated.
Founded and Executive Directed by Corey Flex Artis II and Bionca Sanders, Dream Con was created to contribute a new experience for urban entrepreneurs with a focus on formulating strategic partnerships through networking with an array of industry experts. This four day conference provides its attendees with access to 30 speakers, 8 panels, 4 workshops, and notable keynote speakers, all ranging in topics such as: earning business capital, marketing and management, building million dollar financial portfolios, innovative tech talks, strategies on building and selling businesses, mental health, music/entertainment, real estate, and social media. #DREAMCONUSA aims to give instant access to hidden industry secrets and provide guests with opportunities to meet and connect with potential partners, investors, mentors, and fellow business owners.
The conference takes place at various locations throughout Dallas starting with a mansion networking mixer at the 17,000 square foot Knotting Hill Mansion in Frisco on Thursday with sponsored beverages by Belvedere Vodka. Friday and Saturday will be held at TBAAL, The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, which will be the home-base of the panels and workshops which include speakers such as Marcus Young, A&R with Atlantic Records and Mahisha Dellinger, the CEO of Curls who recently landed a show on The OWN Network. Other speakers include Marty Martinez, Founder of Social Revolt Agency, best selling author Leah Frazier, Dallas City Councilman Casey Thomas, and casting director J Mulan whose clients include Chris Brown and Khloe Kardashian. The conference closes with a gala and fashion show held at Lofty Spaces where awards will be given out including “The Dream Humanitarian Award” given to Deion Sanders this year for his contributions to Dallas’s schools and athletic teams.
Other aspects of the conference include the launch of the #DreamPitch where conference attendees will have the ability to pitch their ideas to a group of investors in hopes to have their idea backed by multi-millionaire investors looking for the next big idea to bring to life.
