Built With Intention: How Lonice Stoker Turned Laced by Lonice Into a Beauty Empire Rooted in Excellence
Before the luxury spa, before the product launches, before the mentorship programs and national tours, there was simply a woman with standards.
Not standards built from privilege or endless resources—but standards rooted in vision, discipline, and an unwavering belief that excellence could exist long before success ever arrived.
That mindset became the foundation for Laced by Lonice Spa & Boutique, the rapidly growing beauty and wellness brand founded by Lonice Stoker. What started as a mission to help clients feel confident in their skin has evolved into something much bigger: a movement centered around transformation, education, community impact, and legacy.
“Luxury isn’t just about aesthetics,” Lonice explains. “It’s about intention, consistency, and how you make people feel.”
That philosophy is embedded into every layer of her brand.
In an industry often oversaturated with trends, aesthetics, and social media marketing, Lonice built her reputation differently. She focused on results. Experience. Trust. The type of consistency that turns first-time clients into loyal advocates willing to travel, refer, and invest in her expertise at a high level.
But building a respected beauty brand wasn’t easy.
Like many entrepreneurs, Lonice had to navigate the difficult transition from technician to CEO. Early on, she realized that talent alone wouldn’t sustain long-term growth. She had to master leadership, finances, systems, business strategy, and scalability—all while maintaining the quality and client experience that made her stand out in the first place.
“There were moments where I had to invest when it was uncomfortable,” she says. “Moments where I had to outgrow certain mindsets.”
Those moments forced her evolution.
Today, Laced by Lonice is no longer just known as a spa. It’s becoming a full ecosystem. From luxury esthetic services to product development, education programs, mentorship initiatives, and nationwide expansion plans, the brand reflects a bigger vision that extends far beyond beauty treatments.
And while the growth is impressive, Lonice measures success differently.
For her, impact matters just as much as income.
That’s why community service has become a defining part of the Laced by Lonice story. Whether providing 100 complimentary facials for breast cancer survivors, serving families at the Ronald McDonald House, or showing up for residents in nursing homes, Lonice has intentionally built a business that pours back into people.
“Success means nothing if you’re not pouring back into others,” she says.
That mindset has also fueled her passion for education.
After recognizing a major gap in the beauty industry—particularly around business development and sustainability—Lonice stepped into a larger leadership role. While many estheticians are taught technique, few are taught how to build profitable, scalable brands that can survive long term.
She’s determined to change that.
Through her apprenticeship program and the upcoming launch of Laced University Skin & Esthetics, Lonice is helping aspiring beauty professionals learn not only how to perform services, but how to think like CEOs. Marketing, systems, client retention, leadership, branding, and scalability are all part of the curriculum she believes the industry desperately needs.
“Talent alone is not enough,” she says. “You have to understand business, marketing, client experience, and discipline.”
That perspective also shapes the advice she gives aspiring estheticians chasing financial freedom in the beauty industry.
According to Lonice, the leap from six figures to seven figures has less to do with talent and more to do with systems and leadership.
“A six-figure esthetician is often still working in the business,” she explains. “A seven-figure CEO is working on the business.”
That distinction matters.
Because while social media often glamorizes entrepreneurship, Lonice understands what sustainable growth actually requires: delegation, infrastructure, multiple streams of income, and the ability to lead a team without sacrificing the integrity of the brand.
Her influence now extends beyond her own business.
As President of the Dallas chapter of Spa Boss Tribe Dallas, Lonice is helping reshape what ownership and leadership look like for Black beauty professionals across the city. The organization emphasizes collaboration over competition and creates a support system where beauty entrepreneurs can grow together while normalizing excellence, ownership, and long-term success.
For Lonice, it’s all connected.
The spa. The education. The mentorship. The philanthropy. The leadership.
It’s all part of building legacy.
And over the next several years, she plans to expand that vision even further. From scaling Laced University to growing her skincare product line and taking initiatives like the Skin Tag Tour nationwide, Lonice is positioning her brand to create impact on a national level.
Still, even with all the growth ahead, her mission remains rooted in the same principles she started with: purpose, integrity, and resilience.
Because for Lonice Stoker, beauty was never just about skincare.
It was always about transformation.
Not just for clients—but for communities, future entrepreneurs, and generations to come.
