Hosted by The Mtoto Agency, this event is far more than a gathering—it’s a powerful movement designed to celebrate, educate, and uplift Black mothers, caregivers, and families.

It Centers Black Mothers and Families
Black mothers are the heart of our communities, yet they’re often underserved and overlooked. The Black Moms Fair was created to address that gap, providing essential resources, connection, and support in a safe and celebratory space.
A Day of Community, Culture, and Connection
From dynamic panel discussions and a Mommy & Me dance session to the Vendor Village featuring over 30 Black-owned businesses, this event blends education with culture, commerce, and community-building. It’s a space where Black families can feel seen, heard, and supported.
National Voices Meet Local Leaders
The event features a keynote fireside chat with actress and Black maternal health advocate Tatyana Ali, alongside speakers like Cheryl Jackson, Marty McDonald, and respected local voices. This intersection of national thought leaders and local changemakers is what makes this event uniquely powerful.
Real Solutions for Black Maternal Health and Economic Empowerment
Workshops and breakout sessions will cover crucial topics like maternal health, wellness, education, and economic empowerment. This isn’t just inspiration—it’s actionable knowledge and community-driven solutions.

Founded by Stephanie Bauchum, The Black Moms Fair is part of a larger vision to expand to cities across the U.S., creating long-term community support and change. What started in Dallas is evolving into a national platform for advocacy, empowerment, and shared experiences.
