Intelligent Grind Promotions released their brand new site today www.THELOCALMOTIF.com “Cool Vibes & Dope Music.” Here’s a little information about the site and platform.

The Local Motif Showcase highlight’s local music talent and visual artists the last Wednesday of every month. The event takes place from 7:45 P.M until 11:15 PM at the The Quixotic World in historical Deep Ellum.

The vibe is cool and the music is dope. It’s an event the city can look forward to every month.

Intelligent Grind is taking their local music showcase, The Local Motif, to another level. Today Wednesday, May 29th 2013, the supporting website went live. The site includes a blog to keep you posted on the local music scene, access to upcoming shows and the opportunity to apply as promoter for the showcase. The group is excited to have the showcase return after taking a break in May. May 29th is also open registration for artists to be considered to perform June 26th.

Haven’t been to a showcase? The Local Motif is for Dallas, by Dallas. Each artist is local and is booked by Intelligent Grind. The word is spreading fast in the community among local artists, fans and supporters. It’s quality music and a guaranteed good time. The event is held at Quixotic World, 2824 Main St in Deep Ellum. The event is hosted by Rico Slice with house DJ, DJ Big J. With attendance continuing to grow each month, local sponsors continue to show support. Local ticket vendor Prekindle provides a ticket outlet for easy entrance. Vitamin Water DFW stocks the event with free water. You can expect this showcase to continue growing at a fast past. Come out June 26th Doors open at 7:45 P.M, show starts at 8:15 PM and ends at 11:15 PM. Come early for free admission until 8:15 PM. There will be a $10 admission at the door after.
