KayWht is the new Southern songstress coming out of Dallas and her arrival couldn’t be timelier. Her most recently project, the appropriately named, “ETA,” displays a singing and song writing maturity that crowns her early on in her career.

Like many of the songbirds that come before her, Kay pulls inspiration and technique from the greats (Hey, Beyoncé) and her personal favorites. We had the Memphis-bred belle channel a few of the R&B queens that we consider to be royalty in the game. Can you guess whose energy she’s giving?
