Pull Up At The Park is culture in its’ purest form and is in its’ second year of being an annual summertime event. There will be basketball games going, BBQ, drinks, a park for the kids, domino/card tables and chill ass Sunday vibes. This is strictly for the community; there’s no outside profit being made outside of what is made off of the food.
This production’s purpose is to serve the community near Pike Park (Little Mexico Apts) and so that the Dallas Music Scene has something different and cool to do on Sunday evenings. This year, NASA Gang, plans on holding the event monthly, from May-Sep, with a different local DJ providing sounds each month. The flyers alone add to the aesthetic of the event being about Dallas culture, using popular Dallas landmarks that people see as iconic and that represent our rich history here in the community.
Dallas is diverse and has much to offer and Pull Up At The Park wants to highlight some of that diversity and add to the culture pot here in the city.
