Collie Buddz, alongside Cris Cab & New Kingston, is poised to deliver his captivating live performance and innovative reggae flavor to cities all over North America, touring from April 17th – May 19th.
The Bermudan singjay rose to international stardom after his self-titled debut stormed the charts in 2007. The album was proclaimed as “a brilliant fusion of dancehall reggae, soca, R&B and hip-hop” (Fader Magazine), defining Collie to be “one of the most firmly grounded voices you may ever encounter” (Hip Hop Weekly). In 2010, he subsequently dropped the “Playback EP”, whose “champagne-sparkling tracks” were celebrated by MTV Iggy as “just what the world’s sunlight deprived need this winter to brighten up those too-short days”.

Now on the brink of his sophomore album, Collie is amped to bring fans all the classic hits they fell in love with, plus brand new material that highlights his Caribbean twist on popular music – which can be heard in recent releases like his “Smoke The Weed” collaboration with Snoop Lion (fka Snoop Dogg).
Collie will be backed by New Kingston, a band who blends reggae with R&B and Hip-Hop, creating a soundtrack to the crossroads of Brooklyn and Jamaica. Their skillful live instrumentation adds another dynamic layer to every show. The tour is also supported by Cris Cab, a 19-year-old pop-reggae-soul singing sensation whose resume reads like this: mentored by Pharrell Williams; recording partner of Wyclef Jean; opening act to Matisyahu, T-Pain and Gym Class Heroes; and proud owner of over 7 million YouTube views.
