We recently sat down with 2Fly of Don Records at our COSIGN Media Studio to talk about the release of his new project, “Levels.” After thoroughly listening to the 10 track EP I must say I received more than I expected. The production is what initially drew me in as soon as the first record, “ME VS. ME” came on. What kept me listening was the vibe of the entire project. When asked what is going to separate 2Fly from every new artist in Dallas 2 Fly said, “Consistency, is what’s going to make me stand out and seperate me from the rest. I found my sound as well. I’m in the studio 24/7, Don doesn’t have to tell me to get int he lab and make music. It’s already there. It’s going to be hard for other artists, they’re going to have to catch up.”

As the saying goes consistency is the key. Being consistent also means that you’re factoring in repetition which betters your craft.”Everyday I’m trying to improve. Figuring out my voice and when I hear a beat I’m seeing how I can rap different,” stated 2Fly. In “Levels” you can definitely hear 2Fly playing with his vocals and trying new things. In one of our favorite records, “No Options” 2Fly is also holding his own with a feature by Kirko Bangz! That speaks volumes.
