Deep Ellum Brewing Company Tour
If you’re a beer connoisseur like this me, you will love this awesome peek into the Deep Ellum Brewing Company. Every Thursday Deep Ellum gives you a tour of how they brew their frothy goodness for only 10 dollars. Food trucks will be there to provide the eats and live music will be playing as well. The Texas State Fair
Catch me if you can! I will be at the fair tomorrow enjoying some Fried Banana Pudding and riding the Ferriswheel. The fair is open now until October 19th. If you have never been you must go! The 2014 State Fair of Texas will run from September 26 to October 19. You can buy tickets online or at any local Kroger store. And of course, tickets are available at the gates. Tickets range from 13-17 dollars with deals all throughout the week! Hope to see you there.
Cutting Edge Haunted House
If you have never been to a haunted house I suggest Cutting Edge for your first time. With a disclaimer starting off with “Enter At Your Own Risk” you are sure to have a scary good time with friends. Cutting Edge runs now until Sunday November 2nd, and ticket prices range from 24.95- 30 bucks but it is definitely worth it to go to one of the worlds largest Haunted Houses! Urban Theatre: New York Art in the 1980’s
When The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth opens its newest exhibit, Urban Theater: New York Art in the 1980s, visitors will be seeing displays from a time with one of the most exciting displays in contemporary art. Picture Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jeff Koons, Jenny Holzer, Cindy Sherman, Julian Schnabel, and Andy Warhol for starters. Their work plus more will be on display at The Modern (3200 Darnell St.). Sister to Sister Fitness Festival 2014
Walkers, volunteers, corporations and community supporters from throughout the Dallas/Cedar Hill community are encouraged to unite to walk and address the risks of breast cancer among African American women and women of color. The Celebrating Life Foundation will provide culturally relevant information, and raise money to continue the work of the foundation. Tickets range from 17-30 dollars and all proceeds with go to the Celebrating Life Foundation! It kicks off at 8:30am and will start at the Cedar Hill Recreation Center!
CottonWood Art’s Festival
Come catch an amazing plethora of performing and visual arts. The Cottonwood Art Festival–held in Richardson’s Cottonwood Park, 1321 West Beltline has so many things to explore such as seriously fine art, bringing together more than 240 artists with work in 14 categories including mixed media, glass, jewelry, leather, drawings, and sculpture. Browse through the park and stop at the tasty concession stands for tons of delicious eats. There’ll also be music to make things even more fun throughout the weekend. The Cottonwood Art Festival will be open from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free; visit cottonwoodartfestival.com for more information

Yesssssss! “Two of my bishes in the clubbbbb..” join me at the Ty Dolla $ign concert this Saturday night presented by the best Scoremore Shows. Ty Dolla will be at Tree’s with the concert popping off at 7:30pm and doors opening at 7:00pm. I would get there early and buy a ticket ASAP because you know Scoremore always sells out!
