A Night to Bloom offered a myriad of opportunities to be empowered, educated and entertained. Spread over two large exhibition rooms more than 40 vendors showcased the latest trends in fashion, beauty and health. We also spotted familiar faces such as Billi Doyle, owner of Honey Bee Swim Wear, who participated in Cosign Magazine’s Fashion Music and Art Show last year. Accompanied by a Dj and live-music, the ladies and the few gents enjoyed mingling and shopping while sipping cocktails.
The key purpose of the event was to create awareness about domestic violence as well as to raise funds for the Genesis Women’s Shelter, which helped Crissy Anderson (Owner of Willow Grace Beauty) leave an abusive relationship.
Once it was time for the fashion show, guests and numerous bloggers gathered toward the runway to take their seats. Lucy Dang’s Spring Summer Collection 2015 did not disappoint! The variations of mixing different fabrics, materials and colors, while accentuating a woman’s body were definitely worth seeing. Only shortcomings of the runway presentation were very few experienced models and not fitted garments. Never the less “A Night to Bloom” was a very tasteful, fun and empowering event with a great turnout!
