Last night, The Grotto Bar at Sfuzzi was on fire  for Amar’e Stoudemire’s “Welcome To Dallas” celebration courtesy of Dallas’ new promotional group, Mood DFW. Mood DFW was created by Celebrity DJ, DJ Duffey  and Michelle Milton also known as Chelley Bee. These two beautiful female entrepreneurs, nightlife influencers, socialites, and VIP hosts created Mood to provide Dallas one of a kind pop-up parties and VIP social events. I had the honor of covering this event for COSIGN Magazine and I was thoroughly impressed. Sfuzzi’s staff was very professional and welcoming, Celebrity publicist, Nina Z did an immaculate job of making the media feel comfortable and informing us of who’s who, and Mood DFW set the mood with a great introduction and kept the event/party live all night. Some notable attendees of last night were Amar’e Staudemire (of course), Trey Songz, yes Trey Songz came by ladies, Raymond Felton, Dorrough Music, Bernard James, Michael Finley, Spud Webb, Amanda Fitzpatrick, Smith II, Shelby Shaw and many more. The Grotto Bar at Sfuzzi is a cozy 1,500 square foot lounge tucked away behind teal velvet drapes, the perfect spot to enjoy an after dinner glass of Prosecco or a favorite cocktail. With an intimate atmosphere, The Grotto Bar at Sfuzzi is designed as a Tuscan wine cellar complete with brick-lined walls and a vaulted brick ceiling. The centerpiece of the room is the four-sided antique steel bar surrounded by custom marble-topped cocktail tables and deep tufted leather booths ideal for diner or cocktail service.

The Grotto Bar offers late night dining until 2:00 a.m. including the restaurant’s signature pizzas and small plates. Guest DJs are scheduled for the weekends as well as every Tuesday when Sfuzzday is celebrated with dining and drink specials. As the post dinner and late crowd builds, special sound proofing ensures that the music-filled Grotto Bar does not interrupt the dining experience in the restaurant.
