The weekend is here and yet again you have no idea what to do. Maybe you’re tired of the club scene, or had a long week at the office and just need some fun times! Well Dallas offers plenty of that whether you think so or not. Here are 7 things to do in Dallas, TX this weekend.
1) Isaiah Rashad, The Outfit TX, and Blue the Misfit at Trees
This Thursday September 11th one of my favorite artist out of TDE will be at Trees! The September installment of the Red Bull Sound Select series features the Outfit TX, Blue the Misfit, and Buffalo Black. The best part?! It’s only $3 dollars with RSVP. Start your weekend of right!
2) Rocky Horror Show
If you love theater this is a special treat! The Rocky Horror Show opens up this Thursday at the Wyly Theatre. The show will go through Sunday, October 19. Performances at 7:30 Tuesdays through Thursdays, 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and Sundays at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost between $18 and $60. 3) Men of Business @ Medusa
This Friday Men of Business who always bring out special guests will be hosting Medusa! From the hottest tracks out to the cities best and sexiest looking, Medusa is always a fun place to spend some time out with friends.
4) Draped Up and Dripped Out Pt. 2 @ The Cliff Gallery
Draped Up and Dripped Out” is a two-part exhibition featuring the works of 25 Houston-based contemporary artists. Part 2 of the exhibit is on view at Mountain View College’s Cliff Gallery Aug. 25-Sept. 26. Check out some art from our sister city Houston!
5) Kings of Leon @ Gexa
Maybe you want to just kick it with a beer and vibe out to the wonderful sounds of Kings of Leon. This concert starts at 7pm Saturday the 12th of September and the tickets run from 20-49.99.
6) Aziz Anisure @ American Airlines
This is a special treat for anyone who loves comedy or just loves Aziz! As seen in the “Otis” video with Jay & Ye or in several different box office hits, Ansari will perform live at 8 p.m. Saturday at the American Airlines Center, 2500 Victory Ave. in Dallas. Tickets are $45-70 and available at ticketmaster.com.
7) Food Truck Frenzy @ Klyde Warren
One of my personal favorite things to do with my boo on a Sunday is head to Kylde Warren park for good eats and a fun time. The Food trucks are open 12-9 on the weekends out at Kylde Warren and whether it be a Sunday Funday or a night out in the park you will never had a dull time hanging out at Kylde!
