Good morning Dallas! Hope everyone had a great week and everyone is ready for an even better weekend. Due to the holiday season there is so much stuff to explore out here in the DFW there is no reason for me to see anyone say they’re bored! Here are 7 things to do in the DDD this weekend.
The Watch @ The Curtain Club
Okay so a couple of weeks ago I lied, tonight is our last installment of The Watch until next year (sad face.) Come out see the top performers of every watch do their thing. Grab a drink, mingle and network, and see local acts shine on the stage. Tickets can be purchased at the door until they’re sold out.
Dallas Takeover @ Epocha
Before you stop by The Watch, go ahead and head on to Epocha a couple blocks away. From 6-10pm they will be doing live acts, spotlighting Ribz Clothing brand, and you can hear tunes from our friends over at FreeLabel! This event is the first of its kind and its going to be amazing. Swing by and check it out!
Daps, Hugs, and Mugs @ Epocha
Epocha is bringing it all this weekend with the Daps, Hugs, and Mugs event in collaboration with talented artist JoonBug and talented artist Topic. Go out and check out these amazing artist’s work and listen to some tunes all while browsing a unique selection of clothing. Shirts and Coffee mugs are for sale as well! This event is from 6-10pm and it’s something you may not want to miss.
RL Grime @ Tree’s
This Friday! Brought to you by Scoremore Shows of course RL Grime the Dubstep and trap prince is here. Grime is celebrating the recent release of his debut album Void, which was released just last month. Grime’s Southside Music Hall is not something you want to miss. Prairie Lights 2014
Now – January 4th the perfect date is Prairie lights. This event runs through January and you can enjoy beautiful lights, and hot chocolate. Sunday – Thursday | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Friday – Saturday | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. This event is located Lynn Creek Park | 5700 Lake Ridge Parkway in Grand Prairie.
The 12 Days Of Christmas at the Arboretum
Celebrate the holidays like never before with this centerpiece exhibit featuring an elaborate collection of life-size Victorian gazebos filled with the charming costumed characters made famous by the beloved Christmas carol.
During the day visitors can enjoy the lavishly decorated DeGolyer Estate, filled top to bottom with a collection of Byers’ Choice Ltd. Christmas Caroler figurines.
During the evening, the garden will remain open for extended hours for The 12 Days at Night, where the beautifully illuminated gazebos will be showcased for magical nighttime viewing. During this time, visitors will be even further immersed in the Victorian-era holiday theme as they enjoy live carolers and holiday themed treats. Tickets are $10.00 – $15.00 and for more info visit
