The Future on Court: The Nike Adapt BB

Nike is bringing a more futuristic look on the basketball court with the new “Nike Adapt BB”. Nike unveiled that the Adapt BB is the first auto lacing basketball sneaker, at a keynote event in New York City. The silhouette operates from two buttons on the side to either tighten or loosen, and can also be controlled by using the Nike app.

Nike’s VP Creative Director of Innovation, Eric Avar, says that the technology will trickle down into other sports and lifestyle in the near future. We can only imagine how the techonology from the Nike Adapt will grow in the footwear industry.

The Nike Adapt BB will release on February 17 for the retail price of $350, and will be available on the SNKRS app. Check out more info at Nike.com and check out the images below.
