Each year, South by Southwest Music Festival attracts almost 30,000 people on average and takes place right in the heart of downtown Austin. The blend of big artists and local musicians defines this unique experience. Cosign Magazine had the pleasure of attending lots of great shows throughout the week. Although The Fader Fort always provided daytime entertainment, Cosign attended a variety of shows in the evenings. You can read Cosign’s full coverage of The Fader Fort HERE.The first night of SXSW opened strong and SXSW Takeover brought out Ugly God for a performance at Mohawk. This was a fun way to start the week as attendees chanting, “thanks Ugly God”. The Stubb’s Barbeque lineup on March 16 promised artists such as MadeInTyo, Denzel Curry and legend, Lil Wayne. Mass Appeal hosted a great show and Lil Wayne put on an unforgettable set for the packed venue. After the end of Wayne’s set, Cosign was able to catch the end of The Function’s event which featured 070 Shake and YesJulz. 24HRS closed out this day with recent hits such as “You Know.” After watching D.R.A.M.’s closing show at The Fader Fort on Friday, Cosign headed over to The Vault nightclub for Houston local, Dice SoHo’s performance. SXSW did not disappoint this year and brought artists out from all around. Cosign would like to thank everyone who made South by Southwest possible. Our in-house photographer, Gavin Lueking of LuekingPhotos was on-sight all week and all photos were taken by him. #COSIGNLife
