You may remember Tara from her in-depth #1000COSIGNs campaign feature we posted a couple months ago. Well, she’s back on COSIGN again sharing more of her story so you can get to know her better just in time for the COSIGN Awards.
After years of luxury retail experience, personal shopping/ styling, assisting designers in fashion shows, and photo styling, her passion for the fashion industry burns brighter than ever. Currently located in Dallas, TX Tara brings together her love and knowledge of classic styles/ fits along with the latest trends to produce looks that encourage and enhance self confidence and curiosity.

What void does your business fill in your current industry?
A different perspective. When it comes to fashion and styling it’s all pretty opinion based. Either someone likes it or they don’t understand it, therefore they hate it. The industry is full of talent and everyone has their own take on it. But mine is mine, and no one else can produce that but me.
Tell us three lessons you’ve learned while operating your business.
1. Never get too comfortable
2. Surround yourself with people who motivate, support, and encourage you

Mentorships are vital, if you could be mentored by anyone in the world who would it be and why?
That’s a hard one but I’ll have to go with Anna Dello Russo. And reason being is I’ve always admired her. She was the first stylist that I discovered who didn’t hide behind their work. She took being a stylist to the next level. Anna took her obsession for fashion and completely embodied it. She not only has amazing style and an incredibly successful career but also intelligence. She organically made being a stylist a life style, not just a career.
Tell us one thing majority of people don’t know about you.
If I told you, then majority of people would know. And that’s no fun. The less you know.. the more you wonder.
Why do you feel that you should win a COSIGN Award?
Because me winning this award is bigger than me winning this award. Me winning this award proves that with hard work, dedication, and self love anything is possible. It encourages people to be who they are and to take risks. It shows the artists who have doubts and fears that it’s all worth it. This award isn’t just about me, it’s bigger than me, it’s about all of us.
Who do you #COSIGN and why?
I #COSIGN all of the talented artists in Dallas who are pursuing their dreams. It takes courage and determination to go after something that isn’t easily obtainable. My peers inspire me daily, therefore they get my cosign.
