I’m the founder of Amin & Co., a local strategic marketing firm specifically for beauty and wellness brands. I also am the founder of DFW Beauty Group, which consists of the DFW Beauty Guide, DFW Beauty EXPO and DFW Beauty Network. I’m also working on an exciting new venture to launch next year which will be the first organic/green beauty story and lounge in NTX.

What void does your business fill in your current industry?
It’s the premier guide to the BEST in beauty for NTX.
Tell us three lessons you’ve learned while operating your business.
Every day is different, but one thing I can say is that you either show up and give it all of you’ve got day in and day out, or someone else will. Other lessons include, nurturing your relationships in the business scene, Dallas is a small town, never burn bridges. Don’t mix business and pleasure, it’ll come back to bite you in the @$$$. Lastly, be bold and never be afraid to ask, the worst anyone or brand can do is say no.
Mentorships are vital, if you could be mentored by anyone in the world who would it be and why?
Emily Weiss, she’s dominating the ecommerce industry like no other. Other’s include, Amber Venz, local entrepreneur and founder of RewardStyle.
Tell us one thing majority of people don’t know about you.
I’m very private. I may be out and about to grow my projects and business, but I’m very much a conquer the world from laptop kinda girl.
Why do you feel that you should win a COSIGN Award?
I’m honored to be nominated. It’s always flattering to be recognized for your hard work. I think that’s what I love about the cosign magazine, when we’re out hustling and bustling, we forget to acknowledge small and even at times big conquers, and you guys always remind us why we started in the first place.
