This past week was crazy big for music. We saw a peek into Kanye’s anticipated Fashion line, Drake gave us a surprise mixtape, and we were able to end it off perfectly on Friday night at the extremely anticipated “PartyNextDoor” concert presented by ScoreMore in Dallas. I was lucky enough to be able to catch the sold out show, and I’m glad I did. The temperature was way to perfect for a February night, and fans piled in line early to see the show that sold out within 2 days on the ScoreMore website. Since his last visit to Dallas in October of last year, Partynextdoor has dropped his sophomore album “PartynextdoorTwo” that has as many sexy samples and overtly sensual lines as his prior album did. Known for his raunchy lyrics, and his more than quality production PartyNextDoor has a fan base that is very devoted out here in Dallas. The intimate set up of the stage, with dim red lighting and the crowd screaming “Party, Party..!” in unison was exactly what I expected out of the PND concert. Performing songs such as “Persian Rugs” off of his first album “PartyNextDoor” and “Sex On The Beach” the sexual chemistry that PND provides through his songs was making the whole crowd want more. Of course we would have loved to see the almighty 6 God come out during the “Recognize” track, but we all know Drizzy was probably busy tipping someone out at Vlive or attempting to shoot a basket at AllStarWeekend in New York. Nonetheless PND let us know he was feeling under the weather, but despite the flu he gave a great performance all the way around. The confidence and sensuality Party brought in his performances was very unique. His last two shows put on by ScoreMore have sold out way to quickly so the next time PartyNextDoor is in town I suggest having your ScoreMore website tab on standby so you can see a great performance in person. Next up is Logic gracing Dallas on the 21st. Tickets can still be purchased on Scoremoreshows.com. Be sure to follow @Wescoremore for more show announcements, and for concert reviews, lifestyle pieces, and info on what’s going on in the city visit Cosignmag.com.
