Hello my darlings, didn’t this week go by so fast!? Guess whose back to give you more events for this weekend coming up in Dallas, TX?! Me! I just want to  say congratulations on the city of Dallas for getting the number one Skyline in the world! Take that Chicago, but anyways the weekend is upon us and here are 7 things to do to ensure you aren’t bored!

1) 2014 Addison OktoberFest
AHHHHH! My favorite part of the year! New beer! Oktoberfest will be 6:00pm – 11:00pm at Addison Circle Park. If you have never been, why? No but seriously really fun times, great beer, and of course you gotta roll with your beer buddies. Don’t forget you can to hear tradition German music while kicking it in the Addison main tent. Thursday night is Free! and Fri-Sunday prices vary (nothing over 10) so do not miss the biggest festival even ranked by Forbes this weekend!

2) Martini’s, Manicure’s and Mammeries
Okay so yes this event is for the ladies, but guys it’s for a good cause so you can tag along as well! This event will be hosted @ Beauty Bar 1924 N. Henderson Ave. Dallas, TX and starts at 7PM. Have a drink, get your nails done and make sure to donate to the BRCA (Prevention of breast and ovarian cancer) because each portion off the night goes to the Basser Center. If you are not able to make it this go round no worries the fundraiser will continue nightly thru October 31th.

3) Strangling Brother’s Haunted Circus
Uhhhh Hello its fall! That means Haunted Houses with the homies or your bae whichever! Get in the Halloween spirit by heading to the opening of “Strangling Brother’s Haunted Circus” located in the Irving Mall. Nothing better then being chased around by killer clowns, and trying to get through an hour-long walk through a maze of 26 tractor trailers. All ages are welcome every Friday and Saturday through November 1, and Wednesdays and Thursdays in October. Tickets are $30, and it is said you be prepared to get scared.

4) Plano Balloon Festival
Okay so if you’re anything like me you dig doing adventurous stuff. The Plano Balloon Festival is one of a kind! On Friday through Sunday look up at the sky because Plano will be filled with the colorful sphere of Hot air balloons and lets not forget some tunes from free concerts and the smell of food from vendors located throughout Oak Point Park. Gates are open from 4 p.m. Friday, 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday. planoballoonfest.org for more.

5) ‘Til Midnight
My favoriteeeee way to spend a Friday night in Dallas is at downtown at the Nasher Sculpture Center, 2001 Flora St. Not only do you get to enjoy Kylde Warren Park, and its amazingly tastey food trucks, but you get a FREE MOVIE! Starting at 7pm a concert will be given by Goodnight Ned and then at 8pm The Great Gatsby will begin showing. Do not miss a beautiful evening under the stars watching a fabulous movie with people from all over the community. Til Midnight is great for a date out with your loved one or movie night with friends!

6) Dallas Salsa Fest
Okay ya’ll! If you don’t like salsa you must not be from Texas! Local Resturants and salsa-makers will sample out some delicious salsa and WE get to vote on the best one! Live music, beer, and craftmakers will be out and about so please check out this wonderful event that’s only $5. 11am-5pm Crowdus. St at Elm St. in Deep Ellum and for further info you can visit www.salsafestdallas.com

7) 2014 Dallas Pride Festival
One of my favorite festivals to come to Dallas. The pride festival will have events kicking off 9/17 and the big parade will be downtown in Oaklawn on Sunday the 21st. If you support Same Love like I do then I will see you at the Parade Sunday!!!
