“Dallas is one of my favorite city besides my hometown. I had to bring the game to where I get my most support at.” – Lil Boosie
On Sunday November 15th, Lil Boosie and the major players in Dallas Texas balled against Diabetes. The inaugural celebrity basketball game was held at P.C. Cobb Athletic Complex and backed by Badazz Entertainment and Dallas’ own The Heads Up Foundation. If you weren’t in attendance boy did you miss a show. Some of the key celebrity players from the game were Lil Boosie, Dorrough Music, J. Oliver, Josh Howard, T. Wayne, and Marquise Daniels. Although they lost to The Heads Up Foundation, it was very entertaining to watch.
With sponsorships from 97.9 The Beat and The ELO Group the gymnasium was pretty much close to capacity. Another sponsor was Washington D.C. native, Chef Jordan 24/7 who sponsored the VIP lounge with his signature meals. Lil Boosie’s Ballin Agains Diabetes was one of the best charity events to hit the city, and we look forward to next years..
