This past Saturday I spent my evening at Ese Azenabor’s Showroom for the annual “Accessories in the Nude” Fashion Show produced by Willie Johnson and Meko Krout. It was an amazing production for a great cause as some of the proceeds were going to be donated to “The Birthday Party Project,” a non-profit organization created to host birthday parties for homeless children and transitional living families. I arrived roughly at 6:45pm for the Press and VIP Meet & Greet and upon my entrance I was greeted with smiles and complimentary MVP Vodka. What a way to start my night. I walked around the showroom and was introduced to other photographers and media outlets by Stephania Schirru, a major fashion influencer in the DFW market.

The next hour I spent vibing to the sounds of DJ M*Knight, who did a stellar job and looking over the itinerary to familiarize myself with the designers who were showcasing. LeeAnne Locklen was the host of the evening and she did an amazing job keeping everyone entertained. At around 8pm the show was ready to start and we were all eager to see fashion at its finest. Indigo 1745, Yvonne Johnson, House of No Lady, Jamel Hawk, RADKEEM SIMS, Uyo by Udoh Atelier, and Josette Couture were the designers for the evening and they all did an outstanding job. All the models looked amazing in custom garments as Willie curated a unique runway which allowed models to display their wardrobe multiple times.
