We’ve decided to end 2018 by challenging our community to live their best and healthiest life. We’ve partnered with our good friend, trainer, and fellow entrepreneur James Fisher Jr. to host the first “90 Day COSIGN Fitness Challenge.” At the end of 90 days we will select one winner to conduct a photo shoot for Issue 25 of COSIGN Magazine detailing their fitness journey and they’ll win a fitness bundle comprised of a fitness watch, Nike gift card, water bottle, back pack, and COSIGN gear. To join the challenge all you have to do is follow the steps below:

1. Follow @cosignmag & @jamesfisherjr on Instagram.
2. Send in initial photo and weight to jamesfisherjr2@gmail.com.
3. Post the fitness challenge flyer on Instagram letting your audience know that you’re participating.
4. Get ready to live your best and healthiest life.

Start Date: Monday October 1, 2018
End Date: Sunday December 29, 2018

Prize: Feature in Issue 25 of COSIGN Magazine, fitness photo shoot, & Fitness Bundle to include Fitness watch, Nike gift card, water bottle, and back pack.

Winner will be announced Monday January 7th, 2019 via @COSIGNMAG & @JAMESFISHERJR Instagram.

90 DAY COSIGN FITNESS CHALLENGE DETAILS & GUIDELINES

The initial weigh-in and photo must be submitted starting from 48 hours before the challenge begins. Participants MUST weigh in ONCE PER week (Submit photo with current weight). In order for the participant to qualify for any form of prize at the end of the challenge, the participant must provide a starting body weight + photos and an ending body weight + photo.

Winners are determined by percentage of total weight loss. This is a fairer comparison than total pounds lost since heavier persons can safely lose weight more rapidly. The average of loss is 1% of beginning weight per week. So, a person weighing 280 pounds can lose 2-3 pounds per week while a person weighing 180 pounds would be expected to lose no more than 1- 2 pounds per week. Example calculation: 1. beginning weight – ending weight = pounds lost 2. (pounds lost ÷ beginning weight) X 100 = percent weight lost.

The participant understands that most of the communication regarding the challenge will be done via social media and email . It is the responsibility of the participant to provide a working email address to properly receive these communications.The participant must use the same account address throughout the challenge. Failure to use the same account throughout the challenge may result in the participant not receiving credit.

It is up to each participant to determine the methods or strategies by which they will improve their health and lose their excess weight during the challenge. Keep in mind that this is an all-natural challenge. Legal substances, such as nutritional supplements, may be used by the participants; however it is recommended the participant consult a knowledgeable and licensed health professional first. If a participant is found to be using any illegal substance they will be disqualified from the challenge. If a participant is found to be engaging in dietary practices that may be harmful or dangerous to their health, they will be disqualified from the challenge. If the participant is found to have received weight loss surgery (for example: gastric bypass) or cosmetic surgery as their means of weight loss for the challenge, they will be disqualified from the challenge.

It is the responsibility of each participant to make sure they are medically capable of participating in the challenge, and that they do not have a medical condition which would put them at harm or risk while participating in the challenge. Therefore, it is recommended that each participant seek the advice and receive an evaluation from their medical doctor prior to the start of the challenge.
