Happy Thursday to all! We’ve made it through another week! I’m back to give you some fun, cost efficient events for the weekend because I just can’t stand to see “I’m bored” tweets on my TL. This weekend is actually extra special because Cosign Magazine is doing things everywhere in Dallas so you’ll get to see one of your favorite writers, photographers, or maybe even KG (whatever he does). I kidd! Anyways let me get to the business. Here are 7 fun things to do in Dallas this weekend !

1) The Watch: #WhenStarsAlign Edition

This Thursday at The Curtain Club in Deep Ellum catch some of DFW’s most talented music acts perform. It starts at 8pm and is always a fun time. Be sure to get there early it does get crowded. Come grab a drink, mingle amongst Dallas’s talented, and here some new music from artists like Star, Young Street, plus many more. I hope to see your beautiful faces there!

2) Fort Worth OktoberFest

So starting this Thursday, September 25th Oktoberfest is hitting Ft. Worth! It’s running all weekend in case you want to go to The Watch on Thursday (hehe). Join the celebration including fatty meats, lively polka music and endless amount  delicious beer. It is located at Panther Island Pavilion and the tickets are 5-10 dollars depending on what day you go!

3) Index Fest 2014

Omg so festival season is upon us and Index Fest is in the DFW! Running daily from September 26th – the 28th prices range from 45-100 dollars depending on if you purchase a wristband for daily entrance or for the whole weekend! Why not grab a wristband, some beer, and have a good time with friends. Located in the heart of good ol’ Deep Ellum off of Main st. you don’t wanna miss this.

4) Texas State Fair (opening day)

Now if you know me, you know I’ve been racking up cheat days for this. The fair is back and better then ever! Big Tex is still looking new and shiny, and they’ve come up with more things to deepFRY! Tickets range from 13-17 dollars and the fair will be running 10am -9pm daily until October 19th. Don’t miss the fried beer this year!

5) Sir Michael Rocks of The Cool Kids, Instore @ Centre

Brought to you by Sierra Paige of Cosign.. heyyyy guys! And the One Stop Shop for men’s fashion Centre. Sir Michael of The Cool Kids will be there 6-8pm kicking it, taking pictures, and signing autographs for his fans. Be sure to listen to his new album Banco and come chill, vibe, and shop with Sir Mikey. Centre is located @ 5307 E Mockingbird Ln #140, Dallas, TX 75206 inside MockingBird Station! See ya there.

6) Autumn @ The Arboretum

This Saturday afternoon do something different! One of the best places to enjoy the outdoors in Dallas is The Arboretum which is now bringing the fun of pumpkins and a hay bale maze. Visit the Pumpkin Village, wander the grounds, and watch the colors change from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden (8525 Garland Rd.). Admission is $15.

7) Lords of Thread Runway Show

This Sunday 9/28 our very own bossman K.G. of Cosign Magazine host’s this wonderful show spotlighting some of Fall’s hottest looks. Doors open @ 7pm and the show starts at 8! Come vibe out to some tunes by DJ Blue and get a sneak peek of fall collections from Mid-point Eclectic, Item 13, and many more. Partial proceeds go to the No Reputation Outreach and Catwalk Closet. Come out, and have a great time!
