[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Last night we attended Dave East’s sold Out Paranoia2 concert at Trees presented by Premier Live Experience. It was our first time seeing the East Harlem artist perform live and we were thoroughly impressed. Outside of his pure musical talents, check out 5 reasons we #COSIGN Dave East.

1.) He’s #COSIGNed by one of the most prolific artist of our generation, Nas.

It’s not everyday someone of Nas’ caliber #COSIGN’s a rapper so to have Nas’ stamp of approval and endorsement is a pretty big deal. The initial #COSIGN came from Nas’ brother Jungle, but it just shows how one #COSIGN on any level can make a difference.

2.) His music reminds you of classic New York Rap.

I don’t know about you guys but I grew up listening to Jay-Z, Notorious BIG, Nas, DMX, Big L, Dipset, and The Lox and Dave East is reminiscient of the classic 90’s New York rap.

3.) One of the best storytellers currently in hip-hop.

If you’ve listened to Paranoia, Karma, or Paranoia 2 you’ll notice that East excels in the art of story telling. If you need an example check out “The Hated” featuring Nas.

4.) Genuinely cares about his fans.

After last night’s show at Trees Dave East I got the chance to observe Dave East engage with fans during a Meet & Greet. He genuinely cared and greeted every fan with energy. It was also amazing how grateful he was when one of our friends Valerie Desrae gifted him a painting of East and his daughter Kairi Chanel.

5.) Proud & Amazing father.

If you follow East on Instagram or listen to him music you’ll notice that his daughter Kairi Chanel is the most important person in his life. Most hip-hop artists tend to hide their personal lives so to see an artist of his caliber truly embrace fatherhood is quite refreshing.
